Studio Works on Diving Dubtones

  • "diving dubtones" was composed in 1996 as a pure instrumental track
  • one year later there was an idea to add a vocal track to the song
  • with Grit Valpahl we found an excellent female vocal act
  • the studio preparation (vocal training) was done in our ueberflieger studio
  • because we had no possibilities to record the vocals we decided to go to a professional studio
  • we found a cheap (We Thought Before !) and really good equipped studio near of dresden -> music studio schubert
  • the whole final production was realized in 2 days :
  • day 1 : overdub all midi tracks to multi track recorder & record the vocals
  • day 2 : mixdown
